About a year ago we wrote a blog advising our clients to increase the SOC Battery levels in Winter

A year later with a cold rainy winter in Cape Town and stage 6 load shedding the problem is back

We have received concern from our clients of battery systems just dropping off and have had to take

a few in to Revov for cell rebalancing (see pic of Battery with 32 counts of OCP (Over Current Protection)

Her the battery has switched off to protecet itself

The standard 10KW Li Bank for an 8KW Sunsyk or Deye inverter is fine for stage 3 but if the client has

heavy draws from a compressor startup or induction loads the batteries are having to provide power draws beyond their

capacity

We recomend forward palnning for our systems to provide this capacity and add an additional battery to prevent these issues
